We are a no-kill animal rescue that gives our animals as long as they need to find the right home! Most of CCAD adult cats reside at our Tree of Life Pet Sanctuary in Queenstown. Our young kittens and dogs live in foster homes or at Dandyland Pet Care Center in Centreville. 

 

A lot of the animals in our rescue are from kill shelters. When you adopt from us, you are saving two lives because you are allowing us to save yet more animals from kill shelters. Please consider adopting from us, so that we can continue our mission of providing a life of love and dignity for all cats and dogs.

 

Please fill out our Cat Adoption Application or Dog Adoption Application online. You may also download a form from our Forms Page, fill it out, and send a completed copy by mail or email us a picture from your cell phone. This application will give us the information we need to make sure the cat or dog you’re considering is the right fit for your home.

 

All applications are processed by volunteers in the order they are received to make the best match. Please understand that it may take longer at times for us to process applications on high-interest animals, such as kittens or puppies. Thank you for understanding!

The adoption donation for dogs is $350 and up, depending on breed, age, and other factors. The adoption donation for most cats is $150. Bonded pairs of cats are $125 each ($250 for the pair). Specialty breeds such as Siamese cats are $200. Some cats have had their adoption donation sponsored by generous donors! These cats will have "SPONSORED" in their descriptions.

 

The adoption donation helps to cover the costs of spaying/neutering, testing for contagious diseases, microchipping, and required vaccinations such as rabies and distemper. Contact us if you have any questions.

 

Please be aware that our dogs are in foster homes and are NOT located at our Tree of Life Pet Sanctuary in Queenstown. You can meet some of our dogs at an adoption show or fundraising event, or fill out an application and we will arrange a meet and greet once you are approved.
